1. What is Local+Perks?
Local+ Perks is a digital pass that unlocks exclusive offers at locally owned restaurants, attractions, and shops across Niagara.
2. How long is Local+ Perks valid for?
Your Local+Perks is valid for 7 days starting from the first day you purchase the pass or from the first day of your planned arrival.
3. Do I need to download an app?
No app required. Your Local+Perks works directly from your phone using an emailed digital pass.
4. How many times can I use my Local+ Perks?
You can use your Local+ Perks unlimited times at each participating business during the 7 day period!
5. What’s the difference between Standard, Family, and Group?
Each option unlocks additional perk value per business.

Standard includes minimum 10% off up to a max of $5 at each participating location

Family includes minimum 10% off up to a max of $10 at each participating location

Group includes minimum 10% off up to a max of $15 at each participating location
This makes it easy for couples, families, and groups to save more together.
6. Are there limits on the perks?
Yes. Most businesess set a maximum perk value to keep offers fair and sustainable. The limit is always clearly shown, if applicable.
7. Can I share my Local+Perks with others?
Local+Perks can be used by the number of people covered under the plan you purchase (Standard, Family, or Group), but it can’t be shared between multiple groups at the same time. You may be asked to show ID to confirm your pass belongs to you.
8. What types of businesses are included?
Local+ Perks features independently and family owned restaurants, attractions, and shops — not big chains or large corporations.
9. Will I actually save money?
Most visitors save the the cost of the pass on their first stop. The more places you visit, the more you save.
Examples:
1. You've bought the Family Local+Perks Niagara Pass (valid for up to 6 people). You visit one of our participating retailers and spend $115.00 before tax. You will save $10.00 (hitting the Family Pass Tier per location max). You've already saved the value of the pass and will be saving even more at any of your next visits to our participating businesses!
2. You've bought the Standard Local+Perks Niagara Pass (valid for up to 2 people). You go for dinner at one of our participating restaurants and spend $45.00 before tax. Your pass will save you $4.50 (10%) off your meal! One more visit to a participating business and you will be saving money!
